Roisin Fitzpatrick - Artist of the Light, creates art that mesmerizes the observer. Light is the key medium Roisin Fitzpatrick uses in her art. The range and spectra of colours generated by each crystal facet creates wonderful light combinations. The art takes on a life of its own through the radiance of the crystals.

There is great freedom to alter the mood of the art by using LED lighting. White light creates an atmosphere of clarity with infinite possibilities. Coloured light alters the ambience of the art. Vibrant warm colours such as reds/oranges/yellows, create energising, uplifting moods. Cooler shades of blues/greens/violets, create more calming, soothing environments. The lighting can be programmed to adapt and harmonise with the mood of the observer, the time of day or night and the location of the art. The larger installations effect a transcendent atmosphere for more spacious rooms. Smaller pieces can enhance more personal spaces.

Roisin Fitzpatrick hand-sews every crystal individually onto each silk block. Her materials are of the highest quality, using the best Swarovski crystal and the finest silks from Roisin Cross Silks. The art can be placed into specially designed clear, UV-resistant plexiglass cases for display. These cases can be wall mounted, suspended from the ceiling or free standing. Over 500 of Roisin's designs have qualified for US Copyright Registration. Each piece of art is signed in crystal with her original trademark.

Roisin exhibits her art at her own gallery near Dublin. Viewings by appointment only. Roisin also exhibits in galleries in Soho and Chelsea in New York.
